Continuing the success of Sol Restaurant in District 1, featured in the Michelin Guide 2023, Saigon Horeca is honored to be entrusted by Sol Kitchen & Bar investors to implement a high-end kitchen system for their restaurant in District 7, HCMC.

Challenges and Difficulties

Upon receiving information and requirements from the investors, Saigon Horeca faced many difficulties and challenges. The renovation of the existing kitchen, which spans over 70m2, required the reorganization of still-functional equipment to ensure proper operation and adherence to the entire kitchen’s processing workflow.

To achieve this, Saigon Horeca’s technical team conducted meticulous and detailed surveys over several days, evaluating each piece of equipment and creating a detailed plan to integrate the old equipment into the new system most reasonably and effectively.

The 8-meter-long smoke extraction system was designed to provide simultaneous smoke extraction and fresh air supply in the cooking area. This system ensures continuous airflow, creating a comfortable environment for the chefs and minimizing stuffiness, ensuring a fresh and airy working space. A 2-meter-long smoke extraction system was also installed in the washing area to provide smoke extraction and fresh air supply, ensuring this area remains clean and mold-free.

In addition to installing new equipment, Saigon Horeca optimized the existing equipment. We checked the functionality of each device and integrated them into the new system to optimize costs for the investors while ensuring operational efficiency.

The construction process was carried out meticulously and carefully. All stages were closely monitored to ensure labor safety and minimize possible incidents.
